Replacing UPVC Door Locks
UPVc doors became popular in the 1980s in the UK and have been frequently fitted since then. However, many of those early doors were not fitted with very strong locks. The locks worked, but in recent years burglars have learned these can be very easily snapped with a pair of cheap mole grips.
Once the lock has been snapped the door handle can be turned and the door opens. This can be achieved in 9 seconds.
The smart way to handle this problem is to call Edwards Locksmiths in to check your locks and if necessary change them to Ultion locks. These locks are massively stronger. So much stronger that, if a burglar succeeds in snapping one to gain entry to your home, and you have registered the lock they will give you £5000. Clearly they are not easily broken into. Indeed, if a burglar sees that the lock is an Ultion they typically move on to another house.

Replacing a UPVC Door Lock in Alvechurch
I called first thing in the morning after an attempted break in. Mark was very kind and understanding about the incident and attended as soon as he could that afternoon. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable and reassured us that the new lock would not only act as a deterrent to any prospective thieves but would be harder to break in to. It was nice to deal with a friendly, calm person after such a worrying incident.
